EUreka3D-XR takes part in CEPIC 2026

EUreka3D-XR will participate in person at CEPIC 2026, joining leading professionals from across the visual media ecosystem in Valencia, Spain. CEPIC 2026 offers new opportunities for collaboration, learning and international exchange.
As part of the official programme, EUreka3D-XR will contribute to the discussion on media authenticity and trust in the cultural heritage domain. Through its presence at CEPIC 2026, EUreka3D-XR reinforces its commitment to trustworthy digital transformation, standardisation and cross-sector collaboration in the European and global visual media landscape.
CEPIC is the voice of the visual content industry. Through its global members, it fosters collaboration, advocates for the rights of agencies, rightsholders and content creators, and ensures that industry standards evolve in line with emerging technologies. Its annual congress is one of the key meeting points for picture agencies, footage libraries, visual media platforms, technology providers, legal experts and innovators.
The theme of CEPIC 2026, “AI Challenge as an Opportunity”, will explore how innovation, regulation and collaboration can shape a sustainable future for the visual media industry. The programme features panels and workshops on Ethical AI, neighbouring rights, legal developments, growth strategies, cybersecurity and the responsibilities of creators and developers. Description:
Ensuring that digitized cultural heritage assets can be created, accessed, and reused in trustworthy and sustainable ways requires sound underlying principles and standards, as well as practical solutions. This session will discuss good practices illustrated through the lens of JPEG Trust, an ISO/IEC standards framework designed to support media authenticity and trust assessment. Particular attention will be given to how this framework can safeguard trust and long-term reusability across cultural heritage workflows, including in scenarios where emerging technologies such as AI are adopted.
