EUreka3D-XR Educational resources
Deriving from the experience of the scenarios, taking into account the needs from the stakeholder community in education, the EUreka3D-XR resources promote the use of 3D collections and XR applications in an educational context, either in the classroom or for activities with children and teachers during cultural visits.
The project used Historiana.eu, a dedicated online platform for teachers and students, to publish and share collections, narratives and interactive educational resources, openly available for reuse:
- Discover the 3D models for Girona walls scenario: https://historiana.eu/narratives/virtual-girona-discovering-the-historical-walls/start
- Discover the 3D models for Bibracte scenario: https://historiana.eu/narratives/the-hidden-side-of-the-bibracte-archaeological-site/start
- Discover the 3D models for Saint Neophytos Enkleistra scenario: https://historiana.eu/narratives/a-new-life-of-saint-neophytos-enkleistra/start
- Interactive activities from the Bibracte scenario:
- “Why are so few wooden objects found at Bibracte?”: https://hi.st/B_i
- “How did Roman wine reach Bibracte? “: https://hi.st/B_j
- Narrative about Saint Neophytos: https://historiana.eu/narratives/-20/start
Additionally, partner Bibracte produced two Open Educational Resources for teachers:
- “On the Shoulders of the Celts”, this is a step-by-step guidance to produce a construction game with cubes, addressing children of age 11+
- “Exploring Heritage in New Ways – How to Use 3D and Extended Reality with Young Audiences”.
The OERs are planned for publication in August 2026.
