EUreka3D takes part at the Europeana Digital Storytelling Festival 2024
21 – 22 May 2024 9am – 2pm CEST
Every year, the Europeana Initiative runs the Digital Storytelling Festival. The international event encourages cultural heritage professionals, educators, creatives, and students from Europe and beyond to boost their storytelling skills and tell stories exploring culture.
EUreka3D project will be present at this online event with the participation of Marinos Ioannides, Director of the project’s partner UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage at the Cyprus University of Technology. He will take part of the Panel session “Innovative media”, presenting outcomes and stories behind the 3D digitised objects and sites within the context of EUreka3D.
Valentina Bachi, Antonella Fresa, and Luisa Pessina, on behalf of the project’s coordinating partner Photoconsortium, will deliver a workshop on digital storytelling by using Europeana galleries.
This two-day event of talks, showcases and hands-on workshops aims to create connections between art, culture and history and the contemporary world.
