The Coach of Philip II of Portugal, dating from the late 16th century, is preserved at the National Coach Museum in LIsbon and is one of the oldest surviving coaches in the world. Classified as National Treasure, it represents an exceptional testimony of early modern royal mobility, technical experimentation and material culture in Europe.
